Worldly love for another person cannot be termed as genuine love...

Love for the Divine Self is primary; love
for other worldly objects or persons is secondary.

Worldly love for another person cannot
be termed as genuine love.

The cosmos or the five-element composite
emanated from God. There is no spot in the
Universe where the Divine is not manifest.

The cosmos is ever in movement
and the Lord of the cosmos is the mover.

Love for the Divine Self is the source of all worldly love.

It is clearly proclaim that when
you love the Divine Self, it brings
everyone nearer and dearer to you

Build the home and make God the heart, for when God is the beat, you will be in tune always and life will then be in synchrony with God's perfect melody...

Comprehend your very own role
that will bring the change.

The strength that will allow you to walk
is derived from your own love from
within to reach the ultimate destination.

As long as you will under-estimate
your own spiritual potential, until then,
I will be bound by your limitations
that you have set upon My presence.

Offer Me all that you have with your hearts full,
and I will accept and reward you with Me, in return.
The offer that comes only half hearted has snatched
the home of life.

Know that a homeless life is only lifeless
and a lifeless home has no room left for Me!
Build the home and make Me the heart,
for when I am the beat - you will be in tune
always and life will then be in synchrony with My perfect melody.

Discipline must be enforced by you upon your own self. When forced by others, you consider it as 'criticism' when your weakness is pointed by another one.

Discipline must be enforced by you
upon your own self, for when discipline
is forced by another, its results are only
suffocating and disastrous.

When your weakness is pointed
by another you consider it as "criticism" -
once you have recognized your own weakness,
only then will you truly seek the strength
that will pull you and allow you to rise to the level of perfection.

Carry the inspiration with you, always -
motivate yourselves by visualizing
your true independence.

Remind your every thought that
arises that you are now in My control -
let the fears, fear their own existence.

Let only the truth lead you -
simplify your task by implicitly
obeying the commands of the conscience -
stop looking to only hear it - it is time,
My child, that you listened from now!

Unxonditional love remains open to all... always..

Believe and I will be the assurance
to your every doubt. Believe, and I will
be more precious to you than any other want or desire.

It is only a matter of your saying, "Yes"!
Once you have affirmed My presence with your faith,
I, My child, will confirm it with My Grace.

Your pledge of self discipline will, one day,
bestow upon you the biggest reward.

Discipline will arise, only when one is determined -
determination arises, only from devotion -
devotion will sprout, only with the seed of faith -
and faith in the Lord will arise, only when
one begins to recognize the constant rejection
one faces in this world, and realizes that
My path of hope, patience and
unconditional love remains open to him, always!

No pride, nor doubts, nor fear, nor sarcasm, no blame, no anger can ever threaten to erase God's presence...

Yearn for the Lord with sincerity and faith,
and watch, My dears, every door that appears
bolted will unlock, itself, welcoming you
in the constant paradise of My security.

Pray, My child, with complete pureness,
and let the devotion that arises dig deep
within to find that loot of strength that
will make the ground move -
letting the feet rest in the peace of prayers.

Know, My child, that your spiritual disciplines
are the wheels that allow the vehicle of life to move ahead -
let the mind be locked securely in the trunk, and let
the intellect arise from within to steer its way to the right path -
leading you to the steps of faith, awakening from
within the voice that speaks the truth in whispers.

No pride, nor doubts -
nor fear, nor sarcasm - no blame
nor anger can ever threaten to erase My presence.

To Me, My dears, you are the
wound-up toy that will, eventually stop -
once the key of worldly ignorance has
completely unwound its way through you.

Believe, and I will become
the answer to your every question.

Practice the exercise of purity and cleanliness, at all times, yet do not be afraid to touch the puddle of dirt...

Practice the exercise of purity and cleanliness,
at all times, yet do not be afraid to touch the puddle of dirt.

The river, My dears, flows along the banks
carrying with it decayed debris, mud - it climbs over rocks -
beats against the harshness of several hurdles,
yet it meets its end by merging its identity
with the mother source.

None can wash water, and it is none other
than water that can cleanse the dirt of another.
Be that water that flows with sacrifice only
to bear and endure another's impurity.

Water in itself, has no color,
yet it mingles pleasantly with simple willingness,
acquiring and accepting the tint of several shades.

Water, in itself is tasteless,
yet it accepts the essence of all flavors.
It accepts the sugar, only to become the sweet dessert -
it accepts the bitterness, only to become the curing medicine -
it accepts the salt only to become the stream of tears -
it accepts the sourness only to be the solution that
rubs off the tarnish, leaving the original brilliance.

The need of water, My dears, is inexhaustible.
The water, My child, must flow, for when it stagnates,
it will lose the nature of its purity and will remain
infested and polluted by the parasites
and intoxicants that will consume its true nature.

Flow, my dears, with that divine energy -
learn to accept the worst - know, My child,
that the stubbornness of the "worst" will bend,
humbly, before the patience of the best.

The good, O dear, can never be choosers -
choosing is only refusing another, and refusing
another will only make you strengthen his weakness
and lose your purity of goodness.

The good only stand before the bad,
only to take the bad and give back the good.
They soften the wicked by lashing the whip
on their own backs - they convince the ignorant
not by argument but by their silence of wisdom.

They lead not by threat or force,
but by their trail of peace and love.

They, My dears, have descended upon
this earth to offer to you their source
of eternal energy that will kindle the
flame of immortality in the life that
lives today in the vision of death.

Seek goodness, My child for it is only the good that learn to love and give...

Seek goodness, My child, -
for it is only the good that learn to love,
and love will be the stream that will instinctively
flow to merge in the ocean of God.

No more tears - no more sorrow,
for the good live to give - their upliftment is their sacrifice -
they give the gift of life a perfect meaning by willingly making
it the purest - the most fragrant offering.

No more fears - no more mine -
for those who have begun to know
of the secret to love, will only long
for another to find and experience
their own contentment -
they crawl their way serving every feet -
the feet of the needy, the miserable,
the downtrodden, the spiritual, the pure.

They serve with promptness,
obedience and respect, touching each of their lives,
and in each caress, they will make contact and will feel
My softness - grazing upon their knees - rubbing off their pride.

Yes! Their way, My child, may seem
and appear slow and painful, but realize
that their slowness is their steadfastness -
their service is the gain of their love -
their implicit obedience is the richness
of faith and humbleness - their pain is
their vow of determination and their
sacrifice is nothing but their vision of oneness.

They have made truth their day,
accomplishing all their work in that light -
they see no night for they have become
the beacons of light that shine through all darkness.

They rest only in their spiritual work -
their last breath will only signify the
completion of their service -
every being is their idol to worship -
their prayers may seem silent -
but know that they chant, repetitively,
only by their loving deeds!

When the wind changes and the same person is disliked or blamed, even the good he does strikes us as bad...

Attempting to hide one's meanness
and wickedness and putting on the mask of goodness,
justifying one's faults and exaggerating one's attainments -
these are also poisonous traits.

Equally poisonous is the habit of
ignoring the good in others and assiduously
seeking only their faults.

Never speak words that demean anyone.
When we are friendly with another and like them very much,
whatever he/she does is certain to strike us as good.

When the wind changes and the same person is disliked,
even the good he/she does strikes us as bad.

Both these reactions are misconceived.
They are not commendable at all.

When the mind focuses upon any pain, it immediately experiences its brutal sharpness, in the same way, when you let the mind focus upon the true self within...

One can recover from any disease, miraculously, when one does not see his self as a part of it!

You should not retaliate or wish them ill, you must bear all blows patiently and gladly...

The attitude of forbearance is to refuse
to be affected or pained when inflicted
with sorrow, loss, and the ingratitude and
wickedness of others.

In fact, you should be happy and calm,
for you should know that these are the
results of your own actions now recoiling on you,
and you should view those who caused the misery
as friends and well-wishers.

You should not retaliate or wish them ill.
You must bear all blows patiently and gladly.

The natural reactions of people,
whoever they may be, when someone injures them
is to injure in return; when someone causes harm,
to do harm; and when someone insults them,
to insult back by some means or other.

This is the characteristic of the worldly path-
the path of objective involvement.

If you seek the inner path of sublimation and purification
you must avoid such reaction and exhibit forbearance .

Love should not degenerate into an article of commerce. Love fulfils itself in love...

The lotus leaf is born under water;
it floats on water;
but it does not get wet.

You too, must be in the world likewise-in it,
by it, for it, but not of it.

This is the special feature of the higher education,
to prepare you for this role.

That is to say, with the heart immersed in the Divine
and the hands busy in work, you must live thus on earth.

Love should not degenerate into an article
of commerce. Love fulfils itself in Love.

Helplessness is the sure sign of the hopeless faith one has in one's own self...

Forbearance, therefore, instructs you to do good even to those who injure you...

Returning injury for injury, harm for harm,
or insult for insult only adds to the Karmic burden,
which has to be endured and eliminated in future lives.

This burden is termed "Aagaami" (impending).
You can't escape the task of undergoing the
consequences of your thought, word, and deed in due course.

Paying evil for evil can never lighten the weight of Karma;
it will only become heavier. It might confer immediate relief
and contentment, but it can only make you suffer later.

Forbearance, therefore, instructs you to do good even to those who injure you.

Prayer is the nectar that relieves one from the poison of one's own desires...

Make another's smile your need, make another's success your inspiration...

Make another's smile your need,
make another's success your inspiration,
make another's prayer your service,
make another's wound your pain -
be that healing touch that melts
the disease of hatred.

It is only hatred and malice that
invokes the syringe of jealousy within.

Until one will pamper the "I"
and ignore the true self - until one
finds within him the need only to receive,
with no urge to give - until one refuses
to behave in a human manner -
until one perceives himself to be
the master that controls another -
until then, O child, one will face the
torments of bitterness, sourness,
and the spiciness of his fiery passions.

Sweetness will come, My love, -
I promise! It will come, once you
are able to swallow all bitterness,
withstand all sourness, overcome
all burning heat!

Find the strength to digest the pride,
dissolve the mind, and all that will remain,
will be the sweet, pure energy of God!

Remember, only that one will recognize and admire your spiritual strength that himself has the vision of truth...

To be free is your birthright, not to be bound...

To be free is your birthright, not to be bound.
It is only when you guide your steps along the
path illumined by the universal unbound Dharma
that you are really free; if you stray away from the light,
you get bound and you are caught.

Some might raise a doubt: How can Dharma,
which sets limits on thoughts and words and regulates
and controls, make a person free?

"Freedom" is the name that you give to
a certain type of bondage.

Genuine freedom is obtained only
when delusion is absent, when there is no
identification with the body and senses,
no servitude to the objective world.

People who have escaped from this servitude
and achieved freedom in the genuine sense are
very few in number.

Bondage lies in every act done with the consciousness
of the body as the Self, for one is then the plaything of the senses.

Only those who have escaped this fate are free;
this "freedom" is the ideal stage to which Dharma leads.
With this stage constantly in mind, one who engages in the
activity of living can become a liberated person

Be aware, My child, for worldly ambition finally leads one to live in the dreariest seclusion!

Attempt to look out of the window from your prison, and you, My child will see your home...

Without perseverance and earnestness, no success can be achieved...

It is mentioned that "Success begets success."
But how is success to be achieved and what is
the success you should aim at?

The persevering seeker secures wisdom.
This means that without perseverance and
earnestness no success can be achieved.

Man is not able to make significant progress
towards the Divine because of absence of strenuous striving
in the spiritual sphere.

Without spiritual practice, reading religious books
and listening to spiritual discourses have no value.

Study of scriptures and reciting God's names
may be good acts in themselves.

But, if there is no love, which is the basis of
all spiritual discipline, they are of no use.

The prayer that yet 'wants' or 'desires' has not known or understood its purpose or reason....

The prayer that yet "wants" or "desires"
has not known or understood its purpose or reason.
One awakens the divinity within by prayer - the divinity,
My dears, that will silence all selfishness and humiliate
the "I" that is present.

Prayers are only answered, My child,
when one stops challenging Me with his pride
and uninquiring questions. The prayer, O child,
is one's effort to reach Me - to know his own self.

It is not a bribe that will satisfy Me, for I am always in bliss.
The prayer must be the plea of purity that must show in
each of your acts.

The prayer must be that strength that must
rise before each storm of confusion.

The prayer must be the truth that will make
you shut yourself to every lie, and every "my".

The one that prides in his spiritual success,
has not attained it.

Goals must be set, efforts must be made,
but the success of spirituality can never
be weighed and can never determined in a finite manner.

When one aspires change, the growth has begun -
when one begins to change, the growth has shown
its development - when one has changed, the growth
has resulted, and when one inspires the change,
the growth is at its fullest maturity.

The adulthood of spirituality, My dears, is Godhood!

One must instill in his daily routine spiritual practices that will tame the mind from its aggressive behavior from time to time...

One must instill in his daily routine
spiritual practices that will tame the
mind from its aggressive behavior,
 from time to time.

Each time it rebels, each time it entices,
each time it teases, each time it judges,
you must quieten it with the final authority
of your supreme control.

Each time the senses awaken,
crying the stubbornness to fulfill their fancy needs,
you must hush it to sleep with the sweet lullaby of God's name.

Yes! I, My dears, must be that constant presence
that dismisses even the possibility of any worldly interference.

It is time, My dears, that you stopped wanting
"from" Me and started only wanting Me.

Every living being responds to some kind of love...

Every living being responds to some kind of love,
and hence, every heart that beats, any existence
that survives to stay alive is a part of the
divine creation and will, one day,
focus its growth towards the only true light
that really exists.

In spiritual growth, one widens the walls
of one's own little world that excludes
most and includes only some and expands
it by tearing down these walls, by breaking
open each shut door and allowing the breeze
of cool winds to soothe the heat and intensity
of pride, anger, greed, lust, malice and envy,
curing one's own burns that have slowly
gnawed like the vulture on one's divine attributes.

Know, My dears, that the vulture only
feeds on dead bodies and will never have
the courage to attack the one that is alive.

Be spiritually alive and alert, at all times,
and do not become the victim or the prey
of the evil eye that hunts.

The duty of the mother lies in nourishing the child's everyday needs...

The duty of the mother lies in
nourishing the child's everyday needs.

She does not focus her attention
in noticing the change in the physical
developments in the child, everyday -
instead, she focuses her attention on
her efforts to bring about the change.

Yes! Once you believe in your efforts,
the change will come - the change for the better -
the change that will symbolize one's growth.

Know, My dears, that with every effort,
one will experience a subtle change that
may go unnoticed.

With every effort that shows its success,
one will only aspire for more.

Spiritual growth is stunted,
only when one is impatient and anticipates
quick results, when one lacks the seriousness
in his own efforts, and when one sets
a final limitation for his change.

Your very nature is LOVE...

Your very nature is Love.
You cannot survive even for a moment,
when deprived of Love.

It is the very breadth of your life.

When the six vices, to which
you were attached so long, disappear,
Love becomes the only occupant of your heart.

Love has to find an object, a loved one.
It cannot remain alone.

You will then direct it to the charming, sweet Lord,
who is Purity Personified, who is the embodiment of service,
sacrifice and selflessness and who has taken residence
in the cleansed altar of your heart.

Then, there will be no scope for any
other attachment to grow.

Step by step, this love for God becomes deeper,
purer, more self-denying, until at last, there is no need for thoughts,
and the individual is merged in the Universal.

The beauty that is contained in nature is not enjoyed by Nature herself...

The juice that is contained in the fruit
is not enjoyed by the tree which bears the fruit.

The honey that is contained in the flowers
is not enjoyed by the creepers which bear the flowers.

Those beautiful sayings which are contained
in the textbooks and scriptures are not enjoyed by the books themselves.

The beauty that is contained in nature is
not enjoyed by Nature herself.

How can the writer who deals with the material world
enjoy the spiritual bliss that is contained therein?

Cultivate faith...

The greatest obstacle on the path of surrender
is egoism and mine-ness or possessiveness .

It is something that has been inhering to
your personality since ages, sending its
tentacles deeper and deeper with the
experience of every succeeding life.

It can be removed only by the twin
detergents of discrimination and renunciation.

Bhakthi is the water to wash away this dirt
of ages and the soap of repetition of God's name,
meditation and communion will help to remove it
quicker and more effectively.

The slow and the steady will surely
win this race; walking is the safest method
of travel, though it may be condemned as slow.

Quicker means of travel mean disaster;
the quicker the means, the greater the risk of disaster.

You should eat only as much as you feel hunger,
for, more will cause disorder.

So proceed step by step in spiritual effort;
making sure of one step before you take another.

Do not slide back two paces when
you go one pace forward.

But even the first step will be unsteady,
if you have no faith. So cultivate faith.

Renunciation alone can lead to immortality. You will be liberated as soon as you renounce your attachment and desire...

Acquisition of positions of authority and power,
of skill and intelligence which can manipulate people and things,
of fame and supremacy, of personal charm, of good health
and happiness or of a large family with many children or wealth…
none of these can confer liberation.

You cannot attain liberation by undertaking sacrifices,
vows, charities, pilgrimages or donations to holy projects.

Though the objective world appears real,
you must be aware that it is deluding you.

You must give up yearning for deriving pleasure
from the objects that appear and attract -
both here and hereafter.

Renunciation alone can lead to immortality.
You will be liberated as soon as you renounce your attachment and desire.

Melt your desire for gold into the ornament of fulfillment and contentment, tease the enticements of delusion with your strength of rejection...

You, My dears, are born to
exist in this bliss, you are born
to shed each impression made
by the mind in this birth and in
previous births, you are born
to tackle with the hunger of your desires,
you are born to reach inward, and derive
from within, the strength of nobleness that
exists in the true self.

Kill, O child, the perceptions
of your imaginary God that dwells
in another world, far beyond your reach.

Threaten, O brave one,
each fear with your existing
knowledge of the truth and
fight the war of your impatience.

Melt your desire for gold
into the ornament of fulfillment and contentment.

Tease the enticements of
delusion with your strength of rejection.

Accept the blame of ignorance
with the maturity of the wise and sincere spiritual aspirant.

Suffocate the senses with the
ropes of self discipline and control.

Subdue the voice of the ego and
awaken the voice of the conscience.

Exert, My dears, every atom of strength
to rebel against the power of your own inner evil.

Say "No" now, and today,
will be better than yesterday, and tomorrow,
My child, will be perfect!

Know that the efforts in you
are mine - the gain is only yours.

Know that the pain of sacrifice
that you will endure are My tears -
the benefit of sacrifice will be only yours.

Know that the faith that faces
the trials of love, is Me - the reward
of receiving boundless love is only yours!

Yes, that one who has ended his life as a human and become God is God HImself...

The one that fails to make an effort
to inspire within Him the fragrance of purity,
is the human that will live his life with the
uncontrolled passions and the shaky imbalance
of a stray, wild animal

The one that has admitted to his faults
and makes a sincere effort to wipe the stains of impurity,
will bring in his life the role model of a God
that will lead him, uplift him and will inspire
him to aspire for the goodness, the perfection,
and the stability of his chosen ideal.

The one whose nature is truth,
whose character reflects purity,
whose principles will shake to no threat,
whose virtues and morals are unblemished,
whose reaction is only of selfless compassion,
whose defeat to any worldly temptation
is inconceivable and impossible,
whose service is unrepayable,
whose value can never be finite,
and who can never be sold nor bought,
who gives to find even more of the treasure of love,
such a human, exists in the bliss and contentment of Godhood.

Yes! That one is God that requires
no effort to please for he is pleasing himself.

That one is God, who requires no proof,
for he is the trust in all.

That one is God, who requires no offering,
for he has all to offer and all to give.

That one is God, that drinks all tears,
for he is the one that smiles only to absorb the pain of all.

That one is God, that will punish himself
to correct the wrong of another.

That one is God, My dears, who accepts
willingly the worries of another and keeps his, a secret.

That one is God that will provide for another,
only to sacrifice his very own need. That one is God,
who worries for the one that accuses and blames him of falsehood.

That one is God, whose nature requires
no effort to reflect the purity and simpleness of truth.

Yes! That one has ended his life as a human and become Me.

Concentrate on the oneness rather than the differences. It is only in unity that one will see the family of God!

Attempt to look out of the window from your prison, and you, My child will see your home...

Liberation is not a dream, unfold your hands and you will be free, My sweet...

One must watch every thought, for even the smallest thought leaves a lasting impression upon the mind...
