A person who does not have anything
at all may feel very happy and contented
when he gets 100 rupees.
But once he gets the 100 rupees,
he thinks how nice it would be if he could get 1000 rupees.

If by chance he gets the 1000 rupees,
he desires to have a million rupees.
Then he would aspire to become a major property owner.

From a property owner he would want
to become a legislator and then a minister
and then the prime minister.
Finally, he would want to use
all his status and wealth to attain the God-state.

But you can never reach divinity
with the help of power and wealth.
As the person's desires cross all limits,
he becomes discontented and his wealth
gains him no inner peace at all.

You must learn how to gain contentment
from whatever you have, being satisfied
with whatever wealth you have been given.
Your responsibility is to take care of the
possessions you have received through the grace of God, and be happy.

Who exactly am I , you discuss and debate?!
What does it matter to you who I am?

You are concerned about your goal,
your ideal, your experience, your effort, is it not?

Why then worry about God's Origin,
God's Nature, God's Mystery, God's Miracle?
When you cannot grasp your own basic reality,
why waste time in exploring the essence of Godhead?
As a matter of fact, you can understand God
only when you have understood yourself, your own Truth.

The gross can grasp only the gross;
its categories of knowledge can proceed only as far as that.
Fish die when they have to breathe the air above the water.
Children can learn the alphabet only with the help of
boards, slates, pencils and pieces of chalk.

Spiritual aspirants going through
the primers of spirituality need symbols, images and rituals.

You cannot discard Name and Form
until you transmute yourself into
the Nameless and Formless;
just as the fish needed water
and could not come up into the atmosphere,
so long as they did not transmute themselves into land animals,
giving up their aquatic nature.

That is the reason why the Nameless and
Formless has often to assume Name and Form,
and come before humanity with limitations imposed by its own Will,
so that it may be loved, respected, worshipped,
listened to and followed; so that the purpose of humanity may be fulfilled.

one can achieve success in all his endeavours.
One who has faith in God will be able to develop
faith in every individual.

The entire universe is permeated by God
and God is the indweller of all beings.

Likewise in life, God enables us to learn the lessons
though bitterly, by placing us in very complex situations.

He watches our inner as well as outer reactions.
We may stumble a humptin number of times.

But with each fall, we become more careful
to tread the spiritual path slowly but steadily.

Remember Him in the heart while living in the world.
Stay focussed in the present moment alone.

Do not drift to the past or future.

between what gives happiness,
