Service is the blossom of love...

Service is the blossom of love,
a flower that fills the mind with rapture.

Harmlessness is the fragrance of that flower.

Let even your little acts be
suffused with compassion and reverence.

Be assured that your character
would thereby shine greatly.

The highest happiness is contentment.
Where there is no harshness, holiness
will thrive and virtue will flourish.

Where greed exists, there, vice will breed thick.

Hurting another, is the intentional revenge of one's own internal pain and chaos...

Try to prevent the five sins that the body commits, killing, adultery, theft, drinking intoxicants and the eating of flesh...

Try to prevent the five sins that
the body commits: killing, adultery,
theft, drinking intoxicants and the eating of the flesh.

A man in judged by the nature of his actions;

if they are good, then he, too is a good man,
and if they are bad, then he too is considered
a bad or wicked man.

Man's qualities and actions are interdependent.

If we lack virtues we are reckoned only as a beautiful flower with no fragrances...

You may have outstanding physical beauty.
You may have the sparkle of robust youth.
You may be from a high and noble lineage.
You may be a famed scholar.

However, if you lack the virtues that
spiritual discipline can only ensure,
you will be reckoned only as a beautiful flower, with no fragrance.

You must live in accordance with the
prescriptions from the Scriptures and
perform actions with the attitude that is
needed to preserve the status you have
gained as the highest soul amongst animals and living beings.

The inevitable destiny of every living being is the attainment of perfection and fullness.

The inevitable destiny of every living being
is the attainment of perfection and fullness.

Our present condition of incompleteness
is the consequence of our activities during our previous lives.

The thoughts, feelings, passions and acts of past lives
have caused the present condition in life.

Similarly, our future condition is being built
on the basis of our present deeds and desires,
thoughts and feelings.

Seek help from the Divine to purify
and sublimate your consciousness. Thus,
your spiritual progress will be accelerated
and you will attain perfection and fullness.

Can light and darkness ever co-exist at the same place, at the same time?

All spiritual practices are of no avail,
if the heart is not pure.

Your cravings and attachments
will not disappear even if you are immersed
in many spiritual practices so long as the heart
is full of the illusion of egoism.

Remember that agitations of the mind
cannot exist in the same heart filled with love

Can light and darkness ever co-exist
at the same place, at the same time?

Hence, you must remove the illusion
of egoism from your heart.

If you are desirous of getting
rid of the feeling of "I" and "mine",
you must worship the Lord.

You must become an aspirant without likes and dislikes.

Be prepared to walk on the fires of life and remain unaffected by the heat....

Know that the shadow of misery that lies ahead,
will, one day, be left behind.

Misery can only walk with you,
if you will hold its pitiful hand!
Be brave! Be prepared to walk
on the fires of life and remain unaffected by the heat.

You will only feel the burn if you recognize "pain".
The world is plagued with fears of misery -

You, My child, must be the one that stays
afloat to give all the hope and strength of
surviving their own evils that lie within.

Plenty in the world are there to cry,
and only a few hands remain that wipes their tears.
Be that hand that washes the tears of all -
be that sweet heart that brings a smile on a face of despair.

Forget your miseries by learning to accept God's will and surrendering yours forever....

Stay untouched to the pain of the mind -
stay untouched to the pain of pride -
stay untouched to the pain of the senses -
and rise above the pain of the body,
and only then, will pain stay away from you, forever.

Forget your miseries, O child, by learning
to smile with the happiness of another.
Forget your miseries by learning to walk without the pain.
Forget your miseries by learning to accept God[s
will and surrendering yours, forever.

The true reason of your sadness is the restlessness of a miserable mind that makes you bitter to your life....

Know that in misery the mind
speaks the language of hatred,
and the eyes envision only scenes of destruction.

The mind loves none, and once peace has departed,
the thoughts will only burn with resentment for all,
and the heart will close its doors to any love that may knock.

Remember, the mind will never
seek the bliss of contentment,
for once you have tasted that nectar,
the mind will lose its power of dominating you.

The mind only feasts upon your condition
of misery and will only instigate you to spread
your unhappy thoughts to destroy any peace
that may exist around you.

Recognize, My dears,
the true reason of your unhappiness.

Yes! The restlessness of a miserable mind
that makes you bitter to your own self.

It is time you fought with the miseries
of the mind and wiped this illusion of
false suffering and pain. sweet heart
that brings a smile on a face of despair.

Pain must not be advertised to receive compassion of pity for it will only weaken your strength to bear your very own sins...

Know that the heart that is sweet will only cover its pains,
will dry their eyes of tears, will swallow the choking of a sob
that may escape and will never allow the shadow of its sorrow to fall upon anyone.

The one that endures pain will be the one
that repays his own doings, without a complaint or
argument and will succeed with this silent sacrifice
by winning the grace of the Lord Almighty!

Pain, O sweet, must not be advertised
to receive the compassion of pity, for it will only
weaken your strength to bear your very own sins.

Even the ones you love the most,
will not be able to take the burdens of your past deeds -
know that, expect less, and forgive them for leaving you all alone to battle and bleed!

All that you take from others through cheats and empty promises, be one day returned either by will or by force...

When today is the day spent with the demon,
then tomorrow's sunrise will never promise the glory of God.

Know that if today is the day of purchases,
then tomorrow will be that of payment.

All that you take from one, will, one day,
be returned, either by will or by force.

Stealing the joy and happiness of another will only
fill your own future with tears of worry, fears and dreadful anxieties.

Do not let the thorns of your own pain
be the reason to inflict the wound of misery upon another.

No innocent, My dears, must suffer the brutal effects of your past deeds. Yes!
Life can be difficult to comprehend, when God does not stand by you!

It is only because one has faults within oneself, one sees the world as faulty...

Nature is resplendent with many colors.
When you wear blue colored glasses you
only see the color you have worn, isn't it?

If the world appears to you
as filled with differences,
it is entirely due to your fault.

If all appear as one, that too,
is due to your love only. For both of these,
the feeling in you is the cause.

It is only because one has faults
within oneself, one sees the world as faulty.

The Lord always looks for goodness,
not for faults and sins. He only sees the
righteousness!

Develop goodness and righteousness.
Live and act in joy and love.
These two are sufficient to attain salvation.

You should not be enticed by the wiles of bad feelings! You should see your own faults and not repeat them!

You repeat the name of the Lord, sing hymns
and perform meditation to earn single-mindedness, is it not?

Once this single mindedness has been earned,
its inner significance will be revealed to you and
effort will become unnecessary.

Those eager to become aspirants,
to attain salvation, should not yield to arguments and counter-arguments.

You should not be enticed by the wiles of bad feelings!
You should see your own faults and not repeat them.

You should guard and protect the one-pointedness,
with your eyes fixed on the goal, and dismiss as trash
whatever difficulties, defeats and disturbances you may encounter on your path.

Discipline is not what you must fear, but it is your focus, your concentration and your power from which you will derive your strength...

A child that attends school knows that

discipline lies in his completion of the entire course
and that he cannot run home until he has spent the time
necessary in school to complete his study.

In the same way, your discipline lies in
completing this study of the self, and when
the necessary time is spent and the study remains complete,
only then, will you be able to come home to Me - your mother.

Discipline, My dears, is not the teachers
beating stick that leaves the marks of pain -
but it is, in fact, your walking stick that feels
the pits and prevents your fall!

Discipline is not what you must fear,
but it is your focus, your concentration and
your power from which you will derive your strength.

You have rolled in the dirt of desires
and forgotten the bliss of being clean -
Yes! It is time for you to be the eager one
that wants to learn his first lesson of control -
the discipline of self-control!

What is self control?

And what is self-control?

Do not be mistaken by this word
and let yourself believe to be the controller of other's joys,
for the one that lives to control the life of another,
walks the path of a mere coward.

Self control is controlling anything that may affect
the "self' to function with its fullest purity.
No temptation must become a hindrance
and no obstacle must become your fear to
walk ahead, towards Me.

You must, O child, believe in yourselves
and have faith that you are capable to live life
with sweet perfection. Nothing more - nothing less!
To make this perfection a reality, you must exercise
the strictest discipline over your own weaknesses
and tendencies to fail. At all times, you must be alert
against the alarm of your own inner evils.

Once you have slipped into the folly of a mistake,
let not this mistake turn to become another habit.

The disease of bad habits must be broken with
the iron will that will not break under the cruelty of any torture.

Have the strength and the discipline to endure
all for letting your principles live and killing with it,
each time, a little more of your weakness that
gave in to sinful desires.

Know that desire will only let you slip
each time into a well that is deeper,
and when the end is near and you will call aloud for help,
the only voice that will respond to this desperate plea
will be your own pitiful echo, for when the voice of evil cries,
God will not respond.

Make a promise that you will not allow
your faults to repeat and allow them to break you.
You can enjoy the bliss of a game,
only when you observe its rules and regulations.

Similarly, to enjoy this bliss of existence,
one must observe divine principles, and only then,
will this game of life result in a peaceful victory.

from a divine source

In your path to God, when u meet with failure, it is only u that can be blamed for your own misdoings, due to your lack of self-control...

The observance of self-discipline marks
the beginning chapter in the book entitled,
"From Human to the Glory of God".

One can advise you, one can inspire you,
one can plead with you or one can pressure
you in recognizing and walking in the steps of God,
but none, My dears, can actually walk this path for you.

This is the only service that cannot be bought,
for even the biggest masters and rulers of the world
had to walk on this journey, alone.

Several hands perform their service
in each worldly task, and behind the task
that does not succeed, lies the blame of
each hand that performed this worldly service.

But in spirituality, O sweet, there is
but one pair of hands, and one heart that
is responsible for its success.

In your path to God, when you meet with failure,
it is only you that can be blamed for your own misdoings,
due to your lack of self-control.

If a dog were your teacher, there are some of the lessons you might learn...

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face
to be pure ecstasy

When it's in your best interest
practice obedience
Let others know when they've invaded your territory
Take naps and stretch before rising
Run romp and play daily

Thrive on attention and let people touch you
Avoid biting, when a simple growl will do
On warm days stop to lie on your back on the grass
On hot days drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree
When you're happy dance around and wag your entire body

No matter how often you're scolded
don't buy into the guilt thing and pout
run right back and make friends

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm
Stop when you have had enough
Be loyal
Never pretend to be something you're not

If what you want lies buried
dig until you find it
When someone is having a bad day
be silent .....
...sit close by.

...and nuzzle them gently.
