We have a life span, we too have a spiritual span. We are mortal, yet we are also immortal, our soul, our spirit. Who are you? Why are you here? Where are you going? Can you understand our immortal spirit that is encased inside a mortal body? Can you accept that I am you and you are me? No matter what name you all call yourselves, we all call ourselves "I"... That "I" is the gift of the Divine, we are all a spark of the Divine!

Which is that love that can liberate us?
Man's nature is Love.
He cannot survive a moment,
when deprived of Love.
It is the very breath of his life.
When the six vices, to which
he was attached so long, disappear,
Love is the only occupant of the heart;
but Love has to find an object, a Loved one.
It cannot be alone.
So, it is directed to the dark-blue Divine Child,
the charming cowherd Boy, who is Purity Personified,
who is the embodiment of service, sacrifice and selflessness,
who has taken residence in that cleansed Altar.
Or, perhaps it is directed to that little boy,
born at the humble stable far away from home,
who is the embodiment of truth, faith and love,
who has sacrificed his life for his love of all of us.
There is no scope now for any other attachment to grow.
So, step by step, this Love for God becomes deeper,
purer, more self-denying, until at last, there is
no other need for thought and the individual is merged in the Universal.
