us by their external beauty, but to the eye
that is illumined by spiritual light,
it will appear trivial in value.
Physical charm and strength
can never overpower spirituality.
The passion that breeds egotism
can be identified wherever selfishness
and pride are displayed.
Until this mode of thought and action
are suppressed, the quality of goodness will not shine.
You must ensure that goodness prevails so as to propitiate,
please and win the grace of the Lord.
